Skate School
Are you interested in skateboarding? Or do you want to improve your skills with some nifty tricks? TRUCKSTOP SKATESHOP runs a prestigious skate school in Ballina for enthusiasts of all skill levels, from raw beginners to champions. We have over 35 years of experience on skateboards and teaching Casper flips and dark slides to thrashers of all ages.
What To Expect From Our Skateboarding Lessons
We offer school term group lessons, school holiday skateboarding programs and private lessons for small groups (up to five persons) or high-performance one-on-one sessions at our all-weather facility in Ballina. (Lismore and Goonellabah by special arrangement).
Skating instruction is tailored to specific skill levels or activities, whether you are a first-timer on a skateboard, beginner, intermediate or advanced skater. We also offer jam sessions and free skate events for those who just want to have fun. Our hosted birthday party skate school events are the perfect activity for a group of friends to spend the day doing what they enjoy, under responsible supervision.
Our skate school is registered with the NSW Government ACTIVE KIDS program. All instructors are cleared through the NSW Working with Children check and possess an up-to-date First Aid CPR certificate. Safety is always a priority and top concern at TRUCKSTOP SKATESHOP. (Please familiarise yourself with our standard waiver when signing up for skateboarding lessons).
